Dr. Schwartz heads back to Peru for healing and relief efforts!
Over 85,000 homes were destroyed by the 8.0 earthquake that struck Southern Peru on August 15, 2007. "Most are still living in parks and on concrete. One way we can help them survive is with our TENT drive."
"The medical and mental health needs often increase in the months after such a crisis. I'll be going to the hardest hit regions, bringing a team with me to help out with those concerns."
Our goal is to collect 4,000 tents by October 15th. We are also raising the necessary funds to ship the tents. All monetary donations count!
* We are accepting new or used tents
* Make sure all the parts are included and operable
* Check if the tent is in good shape (no rips or tears)
* We encourage larger tents for families but will accept single person tents.
